Master of Business Administration (MBA)

Colorado Technical University’s Master of Business Administration (MBA) is designed to help students navigate management theory, ethics and leadership, critical thinking, financial reporting, and more. In addition, students can focus their education by choosing from one of 12 additional concentrations, including healthcare management, entrepreneurship, and global leadership.

Master of Science in Computer Engineering

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, occupations in the computer industry are projected to grow faster than the average of other occupations in the economy.2 CTU’s Master of Science in Computer Engineering (MSCE) program has been designed to cover research, design, development and testing of computer hardware and software, along with the project management and leadership skills necessary to pursue increased responsibility in the engineering field.

Master of Science in Computer Science

From software engineering to network security to database analysis, computer science specialists possess a diverse set of skills that are utilized across a wide range of industries. The Bureau of Labor and Statistics projects that employment of software developers will grow by 24 percent from 2016 - 2026.3 Colorado Technical University’s Master of Science in Computer Science (MSCS) degree program provides students with the opportunity to advance their knowledge of core computer science skills to help them prepare to be leaders and change agents in their chosen industry.

The MSCS curriculum is designed to provide graduate students with an in-depth understanding of operating systems, network architecture, and software system engineering processes. In addition to this foundational coursework, students may also focus their study by pursuing one of three concentrations, including data science, cybersecurity engineering, and software engineering.

Master of Science in Criminal Justice

Colorado Technical University’s Master of Science in Criminal Justice (MSCJ) degree program is designed for professionals seeking new skills related to law enforcement, corrections, and the court systems.

Master of Science in Healthcare Management

The Master of Science in Healthcare Management Management degree program helps students prepare to take on managerial and leadership responsibilities in this expanding field.4 The curriculum covers a range of key operations, including human capital, finance, information systems, strategic planning, policymaking, ethics, and legal and regulatory principles.

Master of Science in Information Technology

CTU’s Master of Science in Information Technology program is an opportunity to provide students with an in-depth exploration of the ever-growing challenges enterprises face and the critical information technologies used to manage those challenges. The program’s goal is to help students develop e the technical and strategic leadership skills needed to design, build, integrate, and manage information technology systems and programs, and consistently tune IT strategies and offerings in alignment with the enterprise’s business goals and processes. The core courses are designed to provide a foundation in strategic management, project management, network infrastructure management, enterprise system architecture, systems security management, and enterprise data management technology.

Master of Science in Management

Today’s global business environment needs individuals who can both lead and manage technical initiatives and business operations To help meet the need for this new breed of technical leadership and management professional, Colorado Technical University offers a Master of Science in Management (MSM) degree program. Building on this program core, the student can tailor the degree program to meet individual job responsibilities, organizational needs, and career goals. CTU offers six concentrations for the Master of Science in Management, allowing students to focus their degrees.

Master of Science in Nursing

CTU offers three Master of Science in Nursing concentrations in nursing administration and nursing education. The nursing administration program is designed to be completed in as little as 18 months while the nursing education program is designed to be completed in as little as 20 months.

MSN-NA: Nursing Administration: Students in the MSN-NA program are taught to apply new systems of thinking to effect positive change and to lead with a strong sense of personal, professional, fiscal, and ethical accountability.

MSN-NE: Nursing Education: Students in the MSN-NE program are taught nursing education principles such as the use of innovative teaching strategies, curriculum design and development, assessment and evaluation, and the application of these concepts in nursing practice and virtual environments.

MSN-FNP: Family Nurse Practitioner: Students in the MSN-FNP program will study patients across the lifespan. Classes focus on evidence-based practice, population health, health policy, informatics, and family practice—theory and skills needed for advanced practice nursing.

Our graduate nursing programs are based on real-world nursing practices, and focus on evidence-based nursing, informatics, policy-making, health promotion, and more.

Colorado Technical University's Master of Science in Systems Engineering degree program is designed to help meet the needs for skilled professionals who can manage the development of complex engineering systems. It aims to provide technical and in depth engineering topics covering the overall process of defining, developing, operating, maintaining, and ultimately replacing quality systems.

CTU’s Online Master of Science in Systems Engineering was ranked among the Best Online Graduate Engineering Programs by U.S. News & World Report in 2019.1

The program emphasizes the use of quantitative methods, especially the use of MATLAB to facilitate modeling, simulation, and decision making in the presence of uncertainty.
