Bachelor of Science in Psychology

The discipline explores the full breadth of psychological theory and research. CTU's Bachelor of Science in Psychology degree program is designed to help students build an understanding of core psychological principles and help equip them with the analytical, research, and communication skills needed to think critically about human experience. Students examine how psychological knowledge is developed, evaluated, and applied across a range of real-world contexts. This program supports students in working to develop a well-rounded foundation in the field of psychology.
Bachelor of Science in Organizational Psychology
Students in the BS - Organizational Psychology degree program will have the opportunity to examine workplace issues that impact individuals, groups, and organizations. The psychology of organizational behavior examines topics such as developing human talent and resources, consulting, coaching and mentoring, creating learning organizations, dealing with change, promoting organizational improvements, and fostering personal growth and professional success.
CTU Admissions Overview
As part of the admissions process, proof of high school graduation (i.e., high school diploma or transcripts) or its equivalency (i.e., GED) must be submitted for undergraduate degree programs. Prospective students are required to participate in an admissions interview and submit an online application. At CTU, bachelor's degrees can typically be completed in 48 months, but students may be able to complete their online bachelor of psychology program faster by “testing out” of classes by passing CTU Fast Track™ exams2—these exams are part of a program designed to test your knowledge of key course objectives. Active military members and veterans may be able to convert their military experience into course credit that applies toward the completion of their selected degree program.1 Submission of a successful Experiential Learning Portfolio (ELP) is yet another way to earn course credit to help you graduate sooner1 (an ELP demonstrates how prior work experience meets the objectives of a particular course). CTU also accepts the transferring-in of credits from other accredited institutions of higher learning, up to 75 percent of a degree program's total credit-hour requirements.1
