When moving from one university to another or starting on the path to earning a new degree, transfer credit is something that’s worth investigating. “Transfer credit” is a blanket term given to any pre-existing education, certifications, or qualifying experience that may count toward earning a new degree.**
What Is an Experiential Learning Portfolio?
An Experiential Learning Portfolio, or an ELP, gives you the chance to document and demonstrate how previous non-collegiate experience, often work experience, meets the objectives of a given course. Your portfolio will be evaluated, and if it meets course goals and American Council of Education (ACE) recommendations, you may be able to bypass the course.
