Bachelor of Science in Computer Science - Data Science

Colorado Technical University’s Bachelor of Science in Computer Science program, with a concentration in Data Science, provides students with the opportunity to develop knowledge and skills in this dynamic industry. The program is designed to help students develop in-depth knowledge of current and emerging data models, methods, technologies and tools, and how to apply this understanding to solve technical problems. Taught by experienced professionals, CTU’s Computer Science program with a concentration in Data Science is constructed to expose students to broad, detailed knowledge of new and emerging models, methods, technologies, tools and best practices relevant to data analytics. The program focuses on introducing students to multiple high-level programming languages, computer architecture, operating systems, databases, mobile computing and more topics relevant to the field.

- Choose and apply appropriate data analytics theories, models, techniques and tools to construct software solutions to cost-effectively extract, store, pre-process, query, analyze and visualize big data based on the business requirements
