Each year, we honor 50 wounded veterans, caregivers and family members with full-tuition scholarships to an eligible CTU degree program of their choice. Since 2008, the CTU Patriot Scholarship has been awarded to 550 student applicants, totaling over $11 million in education. We are proud to release the list of our 2020 recipients.

CTU celebrates 11 years of military scholarships, this year working with The Elizabeth Dole Foundation, Yellow Ribbon Fund, Inc., Guardian Angel Medical Service Dogs, Inc., and Hire Our Heroes. The Purple Heart is our nation’s oldest military award, introduced as the “Badge of Military Merit” by then General George Washington in 1782. It is one of the most respected medals that a U.S. military member can receive. Individuals who have received this award are honored nationally each year on August 7th, formally known as Purple Heart Day.

MBA alumna Kristen Christy was recently named as the 2018 Armed Forces Insurance (AFI) Air Force Spouse of the Year. As the Air Force branch winner, a lead-in nomination for the overall AFI Military Spouse of the Year honor, Kristen first came across CTU because of the school’s involvement in the military.
