Dr. Robin Adams Geiger is our Lead Faculty of Nursing at Colorado Technical University. In this role, she shares her nurse leadership experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), nurse executive, and nurse educator. She leads faculty by focusing on the virtual classroom, faculty mentoring and student engagement.
Dr. Geiger has extensive clinical experience as a primary care provider and clinician in the areas of family practice, women’s health, general/ orthopedic surgery, inpatient intensive care, and as graduate faculty of nursing. She holds an Editor-in-Chief role with Stat Pearls for Advanced Health Assessment and Nursing Ethics, and has published in board certification prep and nurse professional ethics.
Committed to maintaining her clinical privileges, Dr. Geiger will work in her local community, and hopes to work with students in our newly developed FNP Simulated Lab. She shares her belief that patient education begins with properly educated clinicians, and hopes to contribute a solid foundation for nursing students at CTU.
Dr. Geiger remains an active promotor of nursing alliance and professional development. She is the appointed Chair of Leadership Succession for the Developing Honor Society for CTU students, alumni, and faculty. She is a member of North Central Florida Advanced Practice Nurses and has held a board position as Chair of Education for NCFAPN. She is a member of the National League for Nursing, and American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
