Veterans Educational Assistance Program may be used for:
- a college degree
- certificate programs
- technical or vocational courses
- flight training
- apprenticeship
- on-the-job training
- high-tech training
- licensing and certification tests
- entrepreneurship training
- certain entrance examinations
- correspondence courses
Benefit entitlement is for 1-36 months depending on the number of monthly contributions, and you have 10 years from your release from active duty to use VEAP benefits. If unused, the remaining portion is refunded. For more information about VEAP eligibility, visit the VA website.
