CTU Colorado Springs Events

Your coursework is only one part of what you can study and experience at CTU Colorado Springs. From industry panels to volunteer fairs there is always something you can do outside of the classroom to help enhance your skill set.

Our Colorado Springs campus events are designed to provide you with an opportunity to interact with both the CTU community and the community at large. Whether you choose to meet a local employer or attend a local sporting event, you can establish professional connections throughout your academic journey and career path.

We offer a wide range of events to explore and provide new experiences. Below are a snapshot of the campus-sponsored activities. Come join us!

Job Fairs

CTU Colorado Springs partners with local employers and leaders in defense, insurance, technical, non-profit and healthcare industries to participate in campus job fairs. Students and alumni can interact firsthand with employers to learn about company qualifications, job openings, online job applications, and network with other like-minded job seekers.

Social Events

From dinners honoring members of the U.S. Armed Forces to Switchbacks soccer games, CTU Colorado Springs provides plenty of opportunities for students and alumni to get involved. Our social events are a great way to meet new people, discover new interests, and stay connected in the CTU Colorado Springs community. Experiencing new events and interacting with your peers outside of the classroom can give you a fresh perspective regarding your activities within the classroom. Connecting with your classmates in both settings may make it easier to establish long lasting professional relationships that might come in handy during your academic journey and after graduation.

Professional Development Workshops

CTU Colorado Springs professional development workshops feature speakers and panels designed to sharpen your academic skills while listening to and meeting with industry professionals and influencers. There are plenty of opportunities during these workshops to mix and mingle with attendees. You could make connections with fellow students, a potential employer, or even meet your next mentor!

Leadership Series

The CTU Colorado Springs Leadership Series aims to build awareness, increase knowledge, and affect positive change through a sequence of conversations with well-known leaders from a variety of organizations. At each event, industry leaders share their insight and knowledge with students, alumni, faculty, and the community. Attendees can learn something new, gain practical leadership advice, and even find a new source of inspiration. Everyone is encouraged to participate and ask questions so attendees can give and gather feedback regarding their own leadership experiences.

Professional Association Nights

CTU Colorado Springs hosts Professional Association Nights to give students, staff, faculty, and alumni the opportunity to network with professional industry groups such as Toastmasters, United Service Organizations (USO), the Colorado Technology Association, and Project Management Institute (PMI). Professional Association Nights are a great way to learn about discounted student memberships within these organizations, meet industry professionals with similar interests, and uncover possible career opportunities within your field of interest.

Employer Spotlight Tables

CTU Colorado Springs is pleased to host a series of Employer Spotlight Tables, designed to give students a chance to interact with employers from the local community. At each Employer Spotlight Table, students and alumni can meet and greet professionals with a specific employer to learn about their internship, volunteer, and career opportunities. Bring your resume and dress for success.
