CTU is proud to celebrate its tenth appearance on Military Times’ “Best for Vets: Colleges” list, announced each November. The 2025 rankings reflect the publication’s independent, data-driven evaluation of how effectively colleges and universities serve veterans, service members, and their families.
These rankings are designed to ensure that service members have access to unbiased information when choosing an educational institution. To produce them, Military Times provides universities with a comprehensive survey detailing student services, financial assistance, and programs available to students involved with the military.1
A Military-Centric History
From its beginnings in 1965 under the leadership of a veteran, CTU has consistently championed students with military ties. As of December 31st, 2024, our full-tuition CTU Patriot Scholarship has been awarded to 850 active-duty service members, veterans, and caregivers.
CTU offers a reduced tuition rate for active-duty service members and their spouses. Students may also apply military education benefits such as the GI Bill® toward their degree programs, and take advantage of our leave of absence policy that permits them to step away from their studies if they are deployed.
