Happy to Celebrate 10 Years of Alliance - We love our McDonald’s Students!

Colorado Springs, CO – [July 2025] - Colorado Technical University (CTU) is proud to celebrate a decade-long alliance with McDonald's as part of the Archways to Opportunity® program, an alliance that has supported thousands of McDonald's students in advancing their education.

Since the alliance began in 2015, CTU has provided flexible, career-focused degree programs designed for working adults. Through the Archways to Opportunity program, McDonald’s students have accessed educational opportunities that align with their schedules, career ambitions, and life responsibilities. This milestone represents not just the success of an alliance, but the empowerment of individuals who have taken bold steps toward a better future.

Here's to 10 years of opportunity and empowering the educational journeys of McDonald's restaurant employees. The alliance between McDonald's and CTU has been nothing short of incredible. said Lisa Schumacher, McDonald's Director of Education Strategies & Workforce Policy. This alliance with McDonald’s reflects that mission in action. We're proud of the thousands of McDonald's students who have advanced their education with us and excited about the continued growth and impact of this program.

To mark the occasion, CTU has released a commemorative video featuring student stories and highlights from the past 10 years. The video is available on the university's Center for Corporate Engagement page and will be shared across CTU's digital channels to celebrate this achievement with the wider community.
