Academic Specialization/Focus at CTU

Business and Management. I am also passionate in the area of Leadership and Course Design.

  • Why are YOU IN?

I am In because Colorado Technical University is a highly professional, wellorganized learning environment that allows learners and those who love to facilitate it to come together in a very unique, asynchronous learning space. Furthermore, the curriculum is outstanding in that it offers learners a unique blend wherein theoretical backdrops are presented with the goal of synthesis and application in mind. Simply put, I knew that coming to CTU would give me a chance to work with the leaders of today and tomorrow and support them in how they see their challenges moving forward. Being In at CTU continues to give me a chance to touch the future.

  • What is your teaching philosophy?

As a teacher for CTU I see myself as a facilitator. Each learner has a personalized journey and it is my job to help them indeed maximize their potential. It isn’t enough for everyone to simply meet standards. My goal is for every student to indeed find their way and to identify the goals and objectives that mean something to them--- and for some that means excelling well beyond expectations.

  • Aside from higher education, what else are you passionate about?

I am passionate about learning and wellness. I believe that a healthy mid and body all work together and I am constantly striving to learn more about what it takes to maximize the human experience through optimal health and by taking care of the prism that allows us to see it all---our brains!
