CTU faculty care deeply about their subject matter and students. Because CTU class sizes are small, you can have plenty of one-on-one interactions.
We are dedicated to helping students who are active military and veterans. Veterans, stop by the VA center to learn about benefits for you and your family.
Lectures are ideal when discussing general theories. But when it comes to tech, nothing beats hands-on experience. At CTU Colorado Springs, you have plenty of opportunities to dive in and use the same software your future employers use. Better yet, faculty are available to provide direction when questions arise.

CTU educators constantly look for ways to make your subjects come alive including:
National Security Innovation Competition. The CTU faculty sponsors teams that compete alongside MIT, UC Berkeley, Air Force and others. In 2012 and 2014, the CTU team was one of the top finalists. Better still, the CTU team won the competition outright in 2013.
Mock trials with real judges. During the last two weeks of class, criminal justice students experience what a real trial is like so they're ready for the court room.
First Responders' Simulation. Security Studies held Operation Skyfall, a simulated airplane crash. Students participated as role players and staff members so they could meet and interact with first responders.
Some days it's easier to attend class from home. For other subjects, it's really important to be in the classroom, see the lecture, and participate in discussions. So at CTU you have the option of mixing available online and campus classes. You can even split time between the Colorado Springs and Aurora campuses.
This is especially helpful if you're in the military. Take ground classes when you're stationed nearby and online classes when deployed. That way you can stay on course to graduation and still serve your country.
You can walk in and speak with CTU Colorado Springs advisors face-to-face whenever you have questions.
Your courses are taught by leading educators like Paul Prentice, former Chief Micro-Economist for the Department of Agriculture. As a result, you don't just learn academic theories. You see how they apply in the real world. Classes are designed and taught by the faculty themselves so instructors can:
What's more, your instructors are professionals from the field who are plugged into what's happening now, not 10 years ago. In fact, they're typically accomplished professionals who take time out of their busy careers to share knowledge with you.
CTU is conveniently located just north of Colorado Springs near the intersection of I-25 and Garden of The Gods Road.
