CTU’s BSM curriculum is designed to help provide higher-level leadership and group management skills.     CTU’s Bachelor of Science in Management degree program includes 180 total credit hours of required instruction. These include 66 hours of general education courses and 114 hours of core management courses. In total, the BSM degree consists of:

    • General Education: Students admitted to the BS Management program must complete CTU’s general Bachelor of Sciences education course requirements. This coursework is designed to help provide students with a wealth of fundamental knowledge across a range of disciplines, including math, science, history and writing. General education courses include Composition and Critical Thinking, Algebra for Business, Environmental Science and Sustainability, and more.

    • Core Education: The core Bachelor of Science in Management coursework helps provide a foundation of essential management concepts, theories and practices. Core education courses in the program include Accounting, Global Managerial Economics, The Legal and Ethical Environment of Business, and Introduction to Project Management Additionally, 32 hours of this coursework will include 200-300 level business electives chosen to reflect the student’s area of interest.
  • Related Degrees

    In addition to the BSM, CTU also has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with management concentration. The BSBA-Management focuses on the broader approach to business and ties in other proficiencies, such as business administration and human resources. The BSM program was created to provide a more narrowed emphasis on theory.
