JOB TITLE: Executive Assistant

DEGREE: Bachelor of Science in Digital Media Design - Advertising - Current Student

I'M IN AND NOW I’ve assuaged my biggest fear in life.

Describe your educational aspirations.

I am working toward a Bachelor's degree in Digital Media Design and Advertising. As I am 50 years old, I would love to eventually earn a Master's as well; but we'll see how much time I have to devote to school once I am in the field I have chosen.

What goal(s) would you like higher education help you attain?

My biggest fear is that I will have to supplement my Social Security / retirement income with a job as a Wal-Mart greeter! Going to school, even this late in the game, would allow me to be self-employed and work as long as I am physically and mentally capable. Ideally, I’ll be working from home, doing something I love, for many years to come.

How do you envision your life being different after earning your degree?

I would LOVE not having to answer to a boss that knows less than I do. I know that sounds arrogant, but it is so very true!
