STATEMENT:

I'M IN AND NOW I'm helping students visualize their dreams!

Describe your educational and professional background.

I have two degrees from CTU and I am looking forward to pursuing my Master's degree in the near future. I have been working for Colorado Technical University for 5 years and it has been a rewarding experience for me professionally. I work as a Re-Entry Specialist and have a background in customer service and sales.

How has CTU been a part of your educational or professional journey?

I started out late in life gaining my education. I was not able to go the traditional route after I left high school and my parents could not afford it. By the time I was in my mid-30's, I felt like education was missing. I just knew that if I did not do this now, I would have many regrets. When I started working for CTU, I went after what I always wanted. Even though I worked full time, CTU provided me with the tools I needed to be successful. I graduated Cum Laude and it was the most amazing feeling!

How does higher education help individuals work toward their professional goals?

I believe that higher education opens many doors professionally. It does not matter if you want that promotion, or if you are pursuing a whole new career. Education is the key to your success, your family's future and your personal fulfillment.
