CTU Hosts Inaugural “Serve It Forward” Award Ceremony

CTU Serve it Forward Award CeremonyColorado Technical University in Colorado Springs recently hosted its first Inaugural “Serve It Forward” Award ceremony on Wednesday, August 20th.  Nearly 50 individuals from the community and campus attended the event to honor the United Services Automobile Association (USAA) on receiving this award.

Colorado Technical University created the “Serve It Forward” award to honor the good citizenship of employer partners who have gone above and beyond the call for dependents, veterans, and military service members.  “Serve It Forward” is intended to recognize and thank a company that has supported military and veteran job growth in our community, while exhibiting the highest standards of citizenship and community commitment.

This is the first event of this kind for CTU Colorado Springs. Many CTU staff and faculty came to support the event as well as assist in the set-up and takedown. The ceremony was a success and a rewarding night for all.
