Colorado Springs Light the Night Walk

Join us Thursday, September 19, 2013, for the annual Colorado Springs Light the Night Walk.

CTU Colorado Springs - Light the Night WalkWhat is it? Light the Night is an evening walk for people of all ages, where participants carry illuminated balloons to celebrate and commemorate the lives touched by cancer.

When does it start? Festivities, including live music, food, and activities, for the whole family start at 5:30 pm. The walk will begin around 7:30 pm.

Where is it? The walk starts and ends at the Pioneers Museum located at 215 S. Tejon Street.

How do I join? CTU has set up a team for the walk. Please go to, click on “Register to Walk,” and then “Join a Team.” We are listed as Colorado Technical University with Maura Kerndt as the team captain.

Who can join? EVERYONE! The more the merrier! Please feel free to sign up your family and friends to participate in this event with us.

Can I just make a donation?  Absolutely! We have set our team goal at $500, but we believe the CTU family can top that! If you are not able to walk with us, but would like to help this wonderful cause you can make a donation. Simply go to, click on the “Donate” tab, and enter our team name.
