CTU Faculty Member Presents at 4th Annual Cyber Security Training Forum

Colorado Technical University’s Program Director for Computer Science, Bruce Harmon, Ph.D., recently presented at the 4th Annual Cyber Security Training Forum in Colorado Springs. His presentation was titled, Cyber Defense: Big Data Joins the Fight.
The conference draws cyber security professionals from around the country but primarily those active duty military and Department of Defense contractors from the Colorado Springs area. Attendees include persons from Air Force Space Command, Air Force Cyber Command, Army Missile Defense Command, and other organizations at Peterson AFB, Schriever AFB, Ft. Carson, and the Air Force Academy. The principal sponsor every year has been the Information Systems Security Association (www.issa.org) , and industry organization of cyber security professionals. The local chapter of the ISSA is the second largest in the world.
CTU has long distinguished itself with its cyber security programs at all degree levels from bachelors through to doctorate. We have been recognized since 2010 as a Center of Academic Excellence in Information Assurance Education by the Department of Homeland Security and the National Security Agency.
