Student Veteran Receives Scholarship During Fall Commencement
At the ceremony, more than 120 students graduated in front of record-breaking attendance
Denver, Colo. (October 20, 2011) – Colorado Technical University (CTU), a leading provider of education for career-motivated students, has named Cyrell Johnson the recipient of a $10,000 CTU President’s Scholarship. Johnson, who is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Management at CTU in Denver, was awarded the scholarship for his outstanding contributions to the community and campus life. The scholarship, which was awarded as a surprise to Johnson at the fall commencement ceremony, provides an opportunity for Johnson to complete his degree by fully covering his remaining CTU tuition. The award was presented to Johnson by Dr. Mark Pieffer, CTU Denver Campus President and Jeremy Wheaton, CEO of CTU.
