Fun for Everyone at CTU’s 2015 Alumni Fall Festival
Pumpkins, face paint, spooky cookies, and candy corn — fall has arrived in Colorado and across our CTU campuses. On October 17, 2015, the CTU Alumni Association’s Doctoral and Colorado Alumni Chapters hosted the 2015 Alumni Fall Festival at the Inverness Hotel in Denver. Over 100 CTU alumni, staff, faculty, and guests gathered to celebrate fall by participating in a variety of activities from pumpkin carving to candy corn estimating.
While connecting and networking with one another about their experiences at CTU and beyond graduation, alumni and their families carved or painted more than 40 pumpkins. The festival attendees represented 5 different campuses, 45 CTU degrees earned, and CTU graduates from as far back as 1982.
In addition to reconnecting with former classmates and enjoying some fall-inspired refreshments, attendees had the opportunity to learn more about what’s happening at CTU and the latest in program offerings and resources. A few recent highlights: CTU received the Distance Education Innovation Award from the National University Technology Network, Dr. Ruth Tarantine appointed as the new university dean of nursing, and U.S. News & World Report ranked CTU on three 2015 Best Online Programs for Veterans lists.
We hope to see you at our next CTU event! Find out more about our Colorado campuses here.
