Tim Gramling joins Board of Directors for Aurora Economic Development
Colorado Campuses President Dr. Tim Gramling has joined the Board of Directors for the Aurora Economic Development Council. The mission of the AEDC is to be a leader in Colorado’s most promising growth industries, including aerospace, defense, bioscience, renewable energy and transportation logistics. The council aims to create new jobs in the area.
The AEDC is an invitation-only organization, and members must be sponsored by a current member in order to join. CTU was sponsored by Aurora Mayor Steve Hogan, who also recommended Dr. Gramling join the Board of Directors.
Through his upcoming work with the Aurora EDC, Dr. Gramling is hoping to create more direct interaction between the university and larger employers in Aurora and the surrounding areas. He’s also hoping to achieve potential job leads for CTU federal work-study students and graduates, and meet potential real-world experts who may make great additions to CTU as faculty members or lecturers.
