CTU Faculty Spotlight: Timothy Gleason
Since starting with Colorado Technical University in April 2006, Assistant Professor Timothy Gleason has taught more than 200 course sections. Chances are, if students haven’t interacted with Gleason in the classroom, they may have met the Director of the CTU Undergraduate Writing Lab, a position he has held since 2011.
Gleason enjoys teaching and says he likes to “reflect that my courses typically provide students with those foundational skills that will enable and empower them to complete their programs, meet their goals, and matriculate into successful careers.”
A self-proclaimed Civil War buff, Gleason loves outdoor activities, including camping, hiking, fishing, and exploring. No one would ever guess that he used to work as a professional magician, but we at CTU know that Gleason has many helpful tricks up his sleeve when it comes to education.
Gleason currently teaches Modern American History: 1950 to the 21st Century.
