CTU's Chief Academic Officer, Dr. Connie Johnson, attends the 2nd annual ACAO ConferenceCTU’s own Chief Academic Officer and Provost, Dr. Connie Johnson, attended the 2nd Annual Association of Chief Academic Officers (ACAO) Conference in conjunction with the American Council on Education (ACE) 97th Annual Meeting that took place in Washington, D.C. from March 14-17, 2015.

The ACAO is an organization of Chief Academic Officers helping, supporting, and educating other CAOs. It serves the Chief Academic Officers of participating institutions by providing a forum for the development of academic affairs best practices. Activities and programs sponsored by ACAO support the professional development of CAOs and other academic administrators who aspire to become CAOs. The ACAO also provides its members with an environment in which they can discuss current academic issues of importance with other senior academic administrators.

During the conference, Chief Academic Officers from across the nation gathered to exchange ideas, experiences and communicate with, inform, and educate one another.

“To be in the room with such impressive academic leaders throughout higher education is truly inspirational and the sharing of best practices of other institutions with CTU faculty benefits our academic programs and students,” said Dr. Connie Johnson.
