The Obama Plan and the Implications for Health Care

The new health care bill signed in to law by President Obama is going to affect us all one way or another. How it will affect you and your pocket book will be explored in this presentation.

This presentation, which will last 30 – 40 minutes, will be done by our Nursing Program Director, Diann Martin. Diann has extensive experience in the fields of nursing and health care. Diann has a Bachelors degree, Masters degree  and Ph.D. in nursing. Diann is a member of several professional organizations including but not limited to the National League for Nursing, The American Health Information Association, the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, and the American Holistic Nurses Association.  Diann also has a broad background of experience including working for Elmhurst Memorial Home Health and Hospice, Patient Care, Inc., Kaplan University as the Dean of Nursing, and DeVry University where Diann was the Director of Health Sciences Program US Education Division.
