Industry Overview
  • Welcome From the Dean

Welcome to Colorado Technical University! We continue to have exciting developments within our Healthcare degree programs. As you go through your health program, you will see the many innovative ways we work together as a team to create an exceptional experience for our students and faculty. We  look to the future of our health programs by assessing our team to ensure we are offering our students the skills and knowledge that employers are requesting.

Healthcare degrees at CTU include Healthcare Management programs and Nursing. The Healthcare Management programs offer students education on the “business” side of healthcare. We offer an associate degree in Health Administration Services, which matriculates into our Bachelor’s in Healthcare Management and we offer an MBA with a concentration in Healthcare Management. For those who have already obtained their RN license, we offer an RN-BSN program where you can complete your bachelor’s degree in nursing. We continue to expand our offerings by adding concentrations and programs that are suggested by our advisory board and meet the needs of industry.

I look forward to sharing the journey with you through your Healthcare studies at Colorado Technical University!

  • CTU will give you the skills to enter the dynamic job market available to those with a healthcare education. As reported by CNBC, Michael Werch, communications manager at, confirms that the “The health-care industry boasts the most job listings at nearly 640,000 — more than double the postings in retail, which offer the second most job postings. Healthcare has had the most job listings for years, according to Indeed, given the increasing demand for services and a shortage of registered nurses.” 1 Thus healthcare jobs make up 30% of all job postings on You can feel confident that CTU will help prepare you with a relevant degree to enter a growing and challenging field.

CTU recognizes that nursing makes up the majority of the healthcare workforce2 and is projected to grow significantly faster over the next 8 years with Home Health being fastest-growing.3 What truly sets CTU apart, however, is our recognition that the clinical background in nursing is not enough for the growing demand put on nurses to take a leadership role. Our Bachelors of Science in Nursing degree was thus developed for current Registered Nurses who want to advance their careers and build on their RN education.

We have affiliations with the following certification* providers and the following professional organizations.
