What is the GEM program?
Every student needs general education courses in order to earn their degree. The GEM program allows you to build a core curriculum through the flexibility and convenience of CTU’s online courses. GEM allows you to take online courses through CTU that count towards your degree with CCAF.
What courses are eligible for the GEM program?
The following list of CTU general education courses are matched to specific CCAF education course objectives. By taking one or more of these classes, you fulfill a requirement(s) for your degree through CCAF.

Q: What kinds of credits does CTU accept as transfer credit?
A: CTU offers the opportunity for you to transfer credit through the completion of advanced standing options that satisfy established criteria for credential awarding. Advanced standing options include Fast Track, Experiential Learning, Military Credit for training or Military Occupational Specialty, Professional Training or Certification and Standardized Assessment scores.
