Academic Specialization/Focus at CTU

  • Why are YOU IN?

I came from a small town in Alaska and joined the Navy at a young age with nothing by the clothes on my back.  I pursued  higher education to create a better life for myself and my family.   I'm "IN" because I want to show our students that anything is possible if they put their mind to it and stay motivated.  There are no limits to success if students are committed to their education.

  • What is your teaching philosophy?

With every opportunity comes responsibility. I encourage each and every one of CTU's current and prospective students to stay the course.  I always tell my students that if college were easy, everyone would have a degree, and that clearly isn't the case.  Challenge and push yourself outside of what you normally would consider your comfort zone, you will thank yourself for it in the future.

  • Aside from higher education, what else are you passionate about?

Playing guitar, reading and spending time with my family

  • Professional memberships
