Ken Stasiak Biography
On September 17th, 2001, six days after 9/11, Ken incorporated SecureState. With $1,500 and a dream, Ken embarked on a 10-year journey that now has grown into a global information security leader. Ken combines IT savvy with a keen business sense. Starting off as a computer hacker with bleached blonde hair, Ken has developed and matured into a visionary and determined leader.
Prior to SecureState, Ken held firm-wide positions within Arthur Andersen LLP and Ernst & Young’s Information Security and Auditing Services practices. He has been published in national periodicals and is an active speaker on the subject of information security.
Ken supports the University of Akron as an adjunct professor where he instructs a senior level/graduate course on IT Audit and Controls based on industry standards including: FISMA, NIST, COSO, CoBIT, and secSDLC.
