CTU's Dr. Steve Staley to Speak at the 2010 Fall Energizer "Tips, Tools, and Technology" Conference in Albuquerque
Dr. Steve Staley, Faculty Development Coordinator and Professor of Humanities at Colorado Technical University – Southern Colorado, has been invited as a guest speaker at the 2010 Fall Energizer “Tips, Tools, and Technology” Conference in Albuquerque, NM. The conference explores effective teaching strategies and resources for college success programs and shares ideas and tactics for effective courses from nationally known authors, instructors, and consultants. Steve’s presentation will be on November 11-12 and is titled “Rumpelstiltskin Teaching: Spinning Student Straw into Gold at Career and Technical Colleges”. His objective is to “introduce the new version of FOCUS and exercise participants in some new ways of thinking about First-Year Success”.
