CTU Colorado Springs Volunteer Fair

CTU Colorado Springs Volunteer Fair July 16, 2014

We are excited to get the people of the Pikes Peak region enthusiastic about volunteer opportunities  available locally. This event gives the opportunity for the Colorado Springs Business Journal Nonprofit directory come to life…to jump off the page and pull our community in. Our hope is to provide a platform to open eyes and open hearts; to ignite passion and interest; and connect awesome organizations with awesome people.

We wanted to cordially invite you to be a participant and would be delighted if you accepted!

This event will be open to the entire community, as well as all CTU students and alumni.

The fair is designed to:

  • Increase awareness of local organizations in need of volunteers for their various services
  • Provide opportunities for the CTU community and the general public to get involved and volunteer their time with local agencies (and possibly become future donors for causes they feel passionate about)
  • Promote community engagement between CTU and Colorado Springs service agencies

Agencies are invited to showcase their services at this event by providing educational and volunteer information. (Feel free to bring job openings, as well!) Booth spaces will be provided free of charge.

We already have over two dozen organizations who will be in attendance and the event keeps growing: Blue Star Recyclers, Care & Share, CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates), Citizens Project, City of Colorado Springs Parks Department, Colorado Springs Food Rescue, Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum, Colorado Springs SCORE, Cool Science, Designated Driver, Inc., Dreampower Animal Rescue, Ecumenical Social Ministries, Energy Resource Center, Focus on the Family, Girl Scouts of the Pikes Peak Region, Goodwill, Harbor House Collaborative, Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region, institute of Real Estate Management Southern Colorado, Interfaith Hospitality Network, Junior of League of Colorado Springs, Leadership Pikes Peak, Mile High Youth Corps, One Nation Walking Together, Partners in Housing, Pillar Institute of Lifelong Learning, Project Angel Heart, Ronald McDonald House Charities of S.
