Dr. Connie Johnson, Provost and Chief Academic Officer of Colorado Technical University, was recently appointed to the Online Learning Consortium’s (OLC) Bill and Melinda Gates Grant Advisory Committee (GAC). OLC is seeking to tap Johnson’s decades of experience in online learning as it oversees distribution of a $2.5 million grant for the development and deployment of advanced digital courseware solutions.

Adaptive Learning and Faculty Best Practices: CTU Vice Provost Dr. Emma Zone Co-Hosts #WCETAdaptive Learning Twitter Chat

CTU Vice Provost Dr. Emma Zone (@DrEmmaZone) co-hosted the #WCETAdaptive Learning Twitter Chat with Niki Bray (@adaptivechat) on Thursday, December 10 at 7 p.m. CST. The hosts answered questions from other higher education leaders and educators, discussing faculty best practices with adaptive learning. “Serving as a guest expert for the #WCETAdaptive Chat was a fast-paced and fun way to share a lot about faculty engagement with adaptive learning in only an hour’s time,” said Zone, “Participants were interested in how CTU provides faculty training and ongoing support of adaptive learning to make it successful for students and faculty alike.”
