CTU to Implement Flipped Classroom Model Pilot Program at Two Campuses

At CTU we're continually pushing the classroom experience into the future by offering our students unique and forward thinking learning opportunities. In October, CTU implemented a flipped classroom pilot program for three courses, which will run for six sections, at our Denver and Colorado Springs campuses. The program will be carried out with the assistance of Dr. William Hoover, an internationally recognized expert in the field of educational technology. As Dr. Hoover explained in a recent panel discussion for McGraw-Hill, the flipped class reimagines the classroom as an open forum where students and teachers work together to apply, test and challenge core concepts.

CTU Joins Forces with Home Front Cares and Taya Kyle to Benefit Colorado Veterans

On Friday, October 16, 2015, Colorado Technical University gathered with local community and military leaders at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs for a special evening benefitting the Home Front Cares military charity. As the title sponsor of this year’s annual dinner, “For The Love of Our Troops XI”, CTU was proud to welcome keynote speaker, Taya Kyle, wife of “American Sniper”/SEAL Chris Kyle, which drew a sell-out crowd of over 1,100 guests.
