CTU Wins Best of Elearning! Award
Colorado Technical University has been named to Elearning! Magazine’s Best of Elearning! list, which honors the 100 best learning solutions from around the world, officials said.
The university’s intellipath™ platform and virtual learning program won Elearning! Magazine’s 2015 Best of Elearning! Adaptive Learning Content award. Through a series of questions, intellipath™ recognizes what students already know, anticipates what they’re ready to learn and tailors course materials accordingly; it allows students to move quickly through their existing knowledge so they can learn something new.
Chosen from among more than 4,000 user nominations in 30 categories, the 2015 Best of Elearning! awards also honored 99 other best-in-class innovators from across the learning and technology marketplace, including Cisco, Adobe, Oracle and BizLibrary.
“We’re thrilled that our efforts have been recognized among so many worthy nominees,” said Colorado Technical University’s chief academic officer and provost, Dr. Connie Johnson. “Receiving this honor underscores the importance of customized learning, and CTU is proud to be at the forefront of adaptive learning innovation.”
Now in their 11th year, the awards were culled from the largest amount of nominations ever received.
“Given the number of nominations, to make the list in 2015 is quite an honor,” said Catherine Upton, Elearning! Media Group’s publisher. “There is no better honor than to be nominated by users and customers of these best-in-class solutions.”
Along with the other winners, CTU will be honored at the Best of Elearning! Awards Celebration hosted at the Enterprise Learning! Conference in June 2016.
