Dr. Imad Al Saeed is serving as a University Program Director of Information Systems and Technology at Colorado Technical University. He has served as Program Chair of Information Technology and Computer Science and also interim Program Chair of General Education departments at CTU - Sioux Falls, SD. In addition, he is currently teaching online for CTU.   

He has advanced degrees and substantial experience and leadership in different fields within computer science, emerging media, information technology, and e-business, as well as long professional and teaching experience. Also, he has over thirteen years of experience with direction of academic programs, with responsibilities including supervising curriculum quality, coordinating new course development and course revisions, working as a curriculum program director to design new programs and courses, supervising the curriculum development and revision process, including textbook selection, advising students, transfer credit approval, registration, writing academic textbooks, and monitoring assessment of courses and degree programs.

What is your teaching philosophy?

My goal is to help my students succeed in their studies and to prepare them for their future careers by presenting them with realistic problems and effective and cost-efficient solutions to overcome these problems. In this way, students will become critical thinkers and problem solvers.

Aside from higher education, what else are you passionate about?

Sports, Programming, reading, game design.
