Business and Management

Why are YOU IN?

I’m in for doctoral students on ”The Hero’s Journey”!

What is your teaching philosophy?

Kurt Lewin said, “If you want to truly understand something, try to change it.” The action-reflection orientation embedded in this quote serves doctoral students in their formation as they trod the Hero’s Journey. To borrow from Carl Rogers (On Becoming a Person, 1961) "Experience is, for me, the highest authority. The touchstone of validity is my own experience. No other person's ideas, and none of my own ideas, are as authoritative as my experience. It is to experience that I must return again and again, to discover a closer approximation to truth as it is in the process of becoming in me.”
