Academic Specialization/Focus at CTU

Business and Management, Project Management

Why are YOU IN?

I believe in the application of concepts to help students learn.  This is directly related to CTU’s Professional Learning Model™, which I stress in the live chats.  The course concepts and scenarios, along with students’ experience, allow students to apply the PLM™ in their coursework.

What is your teaching philosophy?

My teaching philosophy focuses on four simple basics: the sharing of knowledge, student engagement, practical application, and continuous improvement.

Aside from higher education, what else are you passionate about?

My primary interests outside of higher learning are spending time with my family and volunteering at my church and in other local organizations.  I take time away from all my work-related activities to have quality time with my wife, son and daughter.  We like attending amusement parks, including water parks, watching movies, going to local sporting events, and playing sports in the backyard.
