International Student Financial Aid Process

We encourage international students to check with the appropriate authorities to explore options within their home country for assistance programs that may exist for their benefit.

In order to attend Colorado Technical University, international students must supply an affidavit of financial support and a bank statement indicating sufficient financial resources for study in the United States. F-1 visa students must have adequate funding to cover tuition, fees, and living expenses for a minimum of three terms.

The cost of tuition varies depending upon the online degree program you select at CTU. Please refer to our tuition schedule which lists costs in U.S. dollars for each degree program, course materials, application and graduation fees.

As a student, you will be responsible for paying your tuition and fees in U.S. dollars only. At this time, we only offer student federal financial aid to U.S. citizens and eligible non-citizens who qualify. However, there are other options that you may be able to use to fund your education at Colorado Technical University, including:

Employer Reimbursement

Some employers provide educational assistance as a benefit to help advance the skills and educational level of their employees. CTU can help you explore this option for funding your education.

Private Loans

For alternative loans, international students can be eligible for private loans provided they apply with a credit-worthy U.S. Citizen. All available options to international students will be explored with the assistance of a financial aid advisor.

Cash Payment Plan

At Colorado Technical University, we offer payment plans to help students fund their education, and these payment plans are interest free. If you are accepted to the University, a Financial Aid Advisor will help you set up a personal payment plan and develop a financial solution that meets your unique needs.
