Professor William Halal

Dr. Halal is Professor of Management at George Washington University, Washington, D.C. He is an authority on emerging technology, strategic management, and institutional change. Dr. Halal has consulted for General Motors, IBM, AT&T, MCI, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, International Data Corporation, several foreign companies, and various government agencies. His publications have appeared in several journals, including The California Management Review, Business in the Contemporary World, Strategy & Business, The New York Times, The Christian Science Monitor, Advertising Age, Executive Excellence, and The Futurist. He has authored five books: The New Capitalism, Internal Markets, The New Management, The Infinite Resource, and 21st Century Economics.

Dr. Robert T. Golembiewski

Dr. Golembiewski is Distinguished Research Professor at the University of Georgia. He received his Ph.D. from Yale after completing his undergraduate study at Princeton. He is the author or editor of over 70 books and has authored more than 800 scholarly articles. He is a fellow of the Academy of Management and is the only person ever to receive the three top awards in business schools and schools of public administration (Irwin Award, AoM; Dwight Waldo Award, ASPA; Distinguished Research Award, NAPA). He is also an active Organization Development consult and was named OD consultant of the year by the Organization Development Institute.

Dr. Hampden-Turner

Dr Hampden-Turner was our Distinguished Lecturer for our Summer '06 Session. He has been on the faculties of Harvard, Brandeis, University of Toronto, and University of California at Berkeley. The author of eighteen books and numerous articles and monographs, he is a Fellow of the Cybernetics Society and the Royal Society for the Arts, and has been the recipient of fellowships from the Guggenheim, Rockefeller, and Ford Foundations.
