Content is delivered in a non-linear approach which gives students the freedom to focus on the areas that are unfamiliar. M.U.S.E. brings web-based education to life and centers the learning experience on the student. The platform adds an interactive layer to your online education experience.
Online Learning to Fit Your Learning Style
The instructors at CTU can understand the demands life has on busy adults and working students. For that reason, M.U.S.E. is implemented into online courses as a way for students to adapt to the online learning environment based on their preferred learning style.
Students can choose from a variety of learning options to reinforce course materials presented in class lectures, chat sessions and discussion boards.
Watch It - With the Watch It option, students can activate a visual experience while revisiting the course material with videos and flash presentations.
View It - The View It option allows students to engage with course material through formats including images, flowcharts, CAD drawings and financial forms.
Hear It - Hear It offers an auditory experience for students who learn best through hearing. By selecting Hear It students can learn from audio files like "Ask an Expert" activities.
Read It - Read It provides text-based content that is supplementary to course reading. For students who prefer further reading, Read It is a great place to start.
Problem Solving
Problem solving is brought to life with M.U.S.E. Beyond the Watch It, View It, Hear It and Read It options is a world of other hands-on learning opportunities. The M.U.S.E. platform works to heighten your problem skills, so if you are in Statistics or Accounting class you can use Solve It to improve and assess the skills you’ve learned in the course. Answer It allows students to test their knowledge and comprehension which is a good tool for assessing your progress and retention of course materials. Finally, students can improve their problem solving skills with the Practice It option which includes digital activities that reinforce skills students gain throughout the course.
