Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA): Concentration in International Business

The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) is designed for students interested in an opportunity to acquire knowledge, skills and confidence that may help them pursue professional opportunities within their chosen field. Colorado Technical University offers a concentration in International Business that builds off a solid business administration core curriculum with targeted classes in international finance, management, marketing and legal operations.

The CTU BSBA with a concentration in International Business is taught by instructors, many who have relevant knowledge of how unique political, social, legal and cultural factors change the dynamics of business. The program spans a number of the  facets of global business, focusing on skills and application abilities that you can may readily put into action.

Successful completion of the BSBA with a concentration in International Business can provide students with an applicable foundation of relevant qualifications, including how to:

Concentration Courses

Concentration coursework in this program is focused on providing an in-depth examination of the current international business environment. For example:

  • In International Finance, students may focus on the workings of international financial markets, the risks of doing business in the international area and the management of exchange risk exposure. Valuation and portfolio analysis of foreign investments are also examined.
  • In Management in International Business, students have the opportunity to learn about the unique features that characterize international, multinational and global businesses by exploring the nature of management processes and activities in terms of different legal, political, economic and cultural environments.
  • In International Marketing, students may study the decision-making process in the marketing of products and services across national boundaries and explore the design and modification of marketing strategies for international, multi-national and global markets.
