Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice: Concentration in Homeland Security and Emergency Management

To help students learn about the vital effort to protect our nation, CTU developed the Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice – Homeland Security and Emergency Management (BSCJ-HEM) program for the Online platform with the guidance of the Center for Homeland Defense and Security, Naval Postgraduate School. It’s “All-Hazards” approach to Homeland Security training and education is designed to help students have an opportunity to learn an understanding of emergency management, technology, communications, intelligence, critical infrastructure, terrorism, and other knowledge that may be helpful in a wide range of government and private organizations. Students may also have the opportunity to develop essential skills in ethics, critical thinking, and strategic planning.

If you are looking to build on your experience in areas related to public safety or you’re just starting out and would like to learn about the field of homeland security, this program can help you learn what it takes – entirely online.

  • Apply the fundamentals of homeland security and emergency management to create plans, analyze risk, and propose solutions
