Student Admissions Process

Requirements for admittance to Colorado Technical University at the undergraduate level are minimal. CTU encourages students who have the motivation and interest to pursue and complete a post-secondary degree to apply. A primary factor for undergraduate admission is high school graduation or its equivalent, and the desire to be successful.

Application Procedure

  1. Participate in an admissions interview with an Admissions Advisor (phone or in-person).
  2. Submit a complete Colorado Technical University application for admission.
  3. Submit $50.00 application fee ($100.00 for international students).
  4. Submit attestation of high school graduation or equivalency. Falsification of the attestation will result in dismissal from the university.
  5. Take the Accuplacer exam as part of the enrollment process (does not apply to students pursuing degrees that are offered 100% online). All new students are required to take this exam to ensure proper placement in math and English courses. The score is not an admissions criterion, but rather an opportunity for the University to provide the best possible education for incoming students.
